Amanda McKinney recently won the primary in Washington’s 4th District and will likely win the general election in November in the strong conservative district.
Amanda McKinney did not defeat Dan Newhouse by standing against him. She defeated him by first embracing him and then discarding him the moment it became useful.
When Newhouse voted to impeach President Trump, McKinney celebrated it. She had previously endorsed him and even appeared in television commercials supporting him. That record of loyalty to a RINO who turned on Trump did not disappear. It was simply buried.
The real linchpin of her campaign was NOT grassroots support or policy. It was a calculated transaction.
After Charlie Kirk was killed, McKinney donated $150,000 to Turning Point USA. One of TPUSA’s leaders then hand-walked an endorsement request straight to White House staff. Those staffers issued an endorsement in President Trump’s name. The President himself knew nothing about McKinney’s actual history or her prior support for the congressman who voted to impeach him.
Trump had already endorsed me in the 2024 cycle and encouraged me to keep going through a personal letter that obviously would have naturally led to a formal re-endorsement. McKinney’s team understood that. They knew the only way to neutralize the endorsement I was positioned to receive again was to manufacture one of their own through money and access. That manufactured endorsement became the foundation they built their entire campaign of distortions on top of.
The result is that Washington’s 4th District will soon have a more destructive representative than the one I spent six years working to remove.
This is not a story about competition. It is a story about how a candidate who once cheered the impeachment of Donald Trump bought her way into his good graces after the fact and how that purchase was used to mislead voters about who actually stood with the President when it mattered.
I want restoration in Washington State, not more corruption. I want our government to stop ripping us off. This was the best opportunity for Washingtonians to elect a conservative leader that would use their influence on a national level to help restore our beautiful state.

Misled the voters by buying the Trump endorsement while shielding the White House from her real history which included opposing President Trump, celebrating impeachment, and, endorsing Dan Newhouse. This Trump-Team endorsement led to JD Vance endorsement and other endorsements such as the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. This endorsement sham also squelched endorsements for Jerrod Sessler from people and organizations that did not want to appear in opposition to the President’s pick.
Called and harassed people and organizations that endorsed Jerrod Sessler causing them to pull their endorsements from Jerrod Sessler.
Obtained an advanced copy of Jerrod Sessler’s pamphlet statement from the Washington Secretary of State Office before said statement was made public. Used that document and leverage from a Thurston county judge to submit edits/changes to the pamphlet statement. All of this was done without proper notice or service to Jerrod Sessler leaving little options for defense.
Attempted to sue and gag Jerrod Sessler from talking about the fact that Amanda McKinney paid $150,000 for her Trump endorsement. Research: Washington Rising Inc. contributed $150,000 on December 17, 2025, to Turning Point PAC Inc. (FEC committee ID C00814152, affiliated with Turning Point Action / TPUSA efforts). Leaders from TPUSA admitted to hand walking the endorsement request to the White House political staff.
Called voters and asked them questions such as: “Does it bother you that Jerrod Sessler refused to pay his taxes.” This is clearly an outright lie yet they used it knowing it was not true.
Mailed post cards to voters indicating that “Jerrod Sessler wanted to raise taxes by 30%.” Another outright lie also used by Dan Newhouse’s team in the 2024 election cycle. Jerrod Sessler supports the FairTax Project which consolidates and reduces Federal Tax.
Solicited ~$1.3 million in donations for a family PAC called Washington Rising. It is not a stretch to believe family and friends will be repaid with insider trading info and other benefits.
Accepted nearly $800,000 from American Mission PAC which is a pro-AI, pro-Data Center PAC funded by AI business executives.
Accepted over $3 million in support from Super PAC’s.
These and other facts are why Amanda McKinney was openly opposed by the grassroots conservatives in Central Washington. Not a single county Republican Party endorsed her for this seat yet she created a plan that circumvented county party authority all together.
